Goal
FlickFinder case study

As an UX designer, I approach projects with a holistic perspective, understanding that success isn't just about creating a sleek interface but also ensuring the viability, profitability, and future sustainability of the product.
The case study of FlickFinder exemplifies this approach by not only outlining the theoretical process of app creation but also delving into critical business aspects that underpin its success.

In addressing the multifaceted challenges inherent in developing an applicationlike FlickFinder, I've leveraged my expertise in product design and UX toprovide strategic insights into team composition, funding requirements, andpost-launch strategies.
HYPOTHESIS FOR THE WORK TEAM

UX Designer (Senior/Lead): Responsible for crafting an intuitive and user-centric interface that meets the needs and expectations of our target audience.

Software Developers (Frontend and Backend): Tasked with building the technical infrastructure of the application, ensuring seamless operation on both the client-side and server-side.

Data Scientist/AI Engineer: Develops and trains AI algorithms for personalized content recommendations, leveraging collected data to enhance accuracy and effectiveness.

Product Manager: Leads the project's development, overseeing team activities to ensure alignment with product objectives and successful execution.

Digital Marketing Specialist: Develops strategies to drive awareness and adoption among the target audience, as well as managing ongoing user growth post-launch.

Considering the complexity of the application and various factors, the estimated project timeline is between 12 to 18 months, subject to adjustment based on resource availability and development pace. It's important to remain adaptable to ensure successful project delivery within this timeframe.
THE FUNDING OF FlickFinder

To finance the FlickFinder application, there are several options like Venture Capital investors or make a Crowdfunding using the platforms to raise founds but in my opinion, the most interesting ones and the ones the business should focus onare these two:

1. Partnerships and Sponsorships: Seek partnerships with entertainment companies, content producers, or even existing streaming platforms that may be interested in collaborating or sponsoring the development of the application in exchange for certain commercial benefits.

2. Advertising Revenue or Subscription Model: Once the application is operational, generate revenue through integrated advertising or through a subscription model where users pay a monthly or annual fee to access premium features of the application.
